I used your Dorothy doll that I got from Heartland Dolls as a blank. (What an excellent likeness to Judy Garland-great doll!). I painted her from a color
picture I had, and dressed her using a combination of patterns from your web site, The Dainty Doll Newsletter, and my own tweaking. I made Toto from Sculpey, and mink fur basically following the Dainty Doll Newsletter hints.
The doll has been a huge hit with all the kids that have seen it (I have also made Glinda and the Wicked Witch). |
